This is an idea for the Teria Engine logo.
It's meant to be similar to KDE logos, eg. spacious, colourful, clear.

Tell me what you think. Also, be as critical as you like.

I'd take a bolder font - this doesn't scale very well in terms of readibility. We're probably using this logo a lot, usually in small sizes. A dfferent font could help too - something not so, uh, boring. :)

Other than that, it looks great and easy to recognize.

I think it scaled nicely. Anyway, for the really small icon-type logo, we'll omit the TERIA text.

I've changed the font to serif, because I like the slightly thicker look.

I agree with Thierry in that the font is a bit boring. I like the cell thing, it's cool.

Okay, I wanted to go for a more engineery looking font, so I changed it to courier new this time. Better, or do you think something more radical would be better suited?

I like it. I think the font might be better if it was like, solid black or something, though. It might be hard to see otherwise.

Looks good!

If you're still looking for a bit of critique, I'd maybe suggest adding a pixel or two to the border if the text and then put the text a little lower on the image.

Thats just my OCD talking. I like things to be symetrical and centered. :D
